Door-to-Door Pickup and Drop-Off
Pickup can be arranged from a hotel, residence, office or other confirmed address in Muscat. Drop-off can be arranged at a hotel, residence or confirmed address in Salalah. Both addresses must be supplied before the quotation is final.
If the confirmed address happens to be an airport, that point can be used once agreed. Airport meet-and-greet is not added as a separate included package unless it is confirmed in writing. The published fares do not automatically cover every location in Oman.

The road journey usually takes around 10 hours. Travel time may be longer depending on the pickup and drop-off addresses, traffic, weather, road conditions and rest stops.
Ten hours is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival time. Actual duration also depends on meal stops, passenger requirements and safe driving conditions. Confirmed estimates may change on the day. Passengers connecting to a flight or a time-sensitive event should allow extra flexibility.
Rest and Meal Stops
Reasonable rest and meal stops can be arranged during the journey. Food, drinks and personal purchases are paid directly by the passenger.
Stops affect the total duration and must be safe and practical. The driver may recommend a rest break. Passengers can request a reasonable stop. A specific restaurant or town is not guaranteed, and the transfer price does not include meals.
Luggage During the Journey
Luggage remains in the assigned private vehicle during ordinary travel and rest stops. Keep passports, money, medicine, electronics and valuables with you. Tell the company the luggage quantity before booking so the vehicle category can be confirmed against passengers and bags.
Chauffeur Muscat will assist if an item is forgotten in the assigned vehicle, but recovery is not guaranteed. Personal belongings remain the passenger’s responsibility. Luggage space is not unlimited, and suitcase capacity is not published here because it depends on the confirmed vehicle.
Vehicle Options
Toyota Camry: the private sedan option at OMR 170 per complete vehicle. Do not assume a model year or a fixed luggage load until the booking is confirmed.
Minivan: the larger option when more space is requested for passengers or luggage, at OMR 200 per complete vehicle.
Chevrolet Tahoe / 4WD: a larger 4WD category at OMR 350 per complete vehicle, subject to the exact vehicle available. Off-road driving is not included.

Road-Safety Considerations
This is a long road day. Rest stops are arranged when reasonably needed. The driver decides when a safety break is necessary, and passengers may request a reasonable break. Road and weather conditions take priority over an advertised time.
The service does not encourage skipping rest stops, unsafe speeding, or driving continuously without breaks. Travel will not be forced through unsafe weather or road closures. An advertised clock time is not treated as a hard deadline.
Private Transfer Versus Flight or Bus
A private road transfer is door-to-door. Luggage stays with the passengers in the assigned car, rest stops are possible, and the journey usually takes around 10 hours, depending on the route.
A flight is shorter in the air, but it still requires airport travel, check-in and baggage procedures. Flight cost and availability vary; this page does not publish airfares or flight times.
A bus is scheduled shared transport with fixed departure and arrival points and less flexibility than a private vehicle. Bus fares and timetables are not listed here.
