How car-with-driver pricing works
A car-with-driver booking is a private vehicle and driver for an agreed job. The quotation is for that vehicle as a whole. Sharing the car with family or colleagues does not split the fare into per-person tickets.
The written price is shaped by:

- Confirmed service duration
- Vehicle category
- Passenger count and luggage
- Number of stops and waiting requirements
- Airport pickup details, where relevant
- Cross-border procedures, where relevant
- Whether the itinerary is a single transfer or several days

Muscat Airport transfer price
A Muscat Airport private transfer starts from OMR 15 per complete vehicle. The final fare depends on the hotel or address and the vehicle category. A city hotel is not the same job as a longer drop outside the capital, so not every destination in Oman costs OMR 15.

Half-day driver price
A private car with driver for a half day starts from OMR 50. That figure is a starting price for an agreed Muscat itinerary, not a menu of every possible stop in Oman.
The exact number of service hours is confirmed before booking because requirements vary by itinerary. Provide pickup time, finish time and planned stops so the quotation can state the schedule in writing.
Full-day driver price
A private car with driver for a full day starts from OMR 70 for an agreed Muscat itinerary. Fuel and parking inside Muscat are included in that city rate. A full day is useful when you want several addresses and waiting between them without booking a new car for each hop.
Hours and finish time are confirmed in the written quotation. A full-day Muscat booking is not an all-day rate for destinations outside the city; those routes are quoted separately.
Selected trips outside Muscat
Selected trips outside Muscat start from OMR 60. That is a starting price for some itineraries, not a flat fare for every town, wadi or mountain road. The final rate depends on destination, travel duration, whether the booking is return or one-way, vehicle category, waiting time and the number of stops.

Muscat-to-Dubai price
The Muscat to Dubai private transfer is OMR 110 per complete vehicle, one way in that direction. The reverse journey is quoted separately and does not use this figure.
The fare includes fuel, applicable road tolls and required vehicle and driver border procedures. Passenger visas and personal immigration fees are not included. Entry approval is not guaranteed and border processing has no promised duration.

A sedan is the usual vehicle for ordinary private-driver bookings, subject to availability. It is suitable for most airport and city work when passenger and luggage counts fit.
Tahoe, 4WD, Minivan and Mercedes rates are quoted according to the route, duration, passenger count, luggage and vehicle availability. A compliant 4WD is required for restricted mountain roads such as Jebel Akhdar; not every SUV automatically qualifies. Minivan quotations follow passengers, luggage and route. Mercedes service is confirmed upon request and availability. An exact model is not promised in this guide.

With a car-with-driver booking, the driver operates the vehicle. The service suits airport arrivals, business calls, touring and intercity travel when you do not want to drive. The job is based on an agreed route and duration.
A self-drive rental is a different product: you drive the vehicle, and deposit, licence, insurance and mileage rules may apply. This page does not quote self-drive rentals and is not a monthly hire guide.
